This presentation of the Raamaayanam in this form is due to a sudden decision taken out of unforeseen circumstances.
Since my retirement from Bank, I have been on the job of translation of Mahaabhaaratham but my mother's sudden death in November 2014 brought it into a halt as I did not wish to continue the translation of the epic until my mother's annual ceremonies are over.
I diverted my attention towards writing a few books in memory of my mother. After completing the fourth book in her name, suddenly I made my mind to take up translation of the Raamaayanam to dedicate to my mother's memory and I started the work on 19.02.2017.
I continue my work , partly looking into Mahaabhaaratham task and partly finishing this job too.
I followed the same system in this translation as I did in translating the Mahaabhaaratham.
My scheme of presentation is to write the various links first and then to present the text of comprehensive translation.
I hope to complete this translation as early as possible and it is my fervent wish that this might help the young readers a lot in getting themselves aquainted with this great Ithihaasa of our country and also the first poetry in the human library, next, of course, to the Vedas.
Any corrections about content or presentation are welcome from any quarter.
